Well that got your attention ? This is not an Iris “Jezibel” Robinson post..but something else…’s the

brought to you by his horniness sorry holiness <spit> the baby eating Bishop of Rome himself

Pope Benedicta the Nasty

It’s January, after the season of goodwill to all men and women, and Pope Benedict has dusted off his lovely new bright red Prada shoes, his nice white doily that’s been bleached in the urine of virgin nuns, put on his Versace little red cloak and twee hat, opened up his lovely jewelry chest (in Barbie pink with Hannah Montana stickers) and opened his bigoted gob to spout his usual shit.

Here’s the prime quote ..

gay marriage laws an “attack” on the natural differences between men and women.

He’s a wily old dress wearing pedo-protector so you have to read the veiled references between the lines when he spouts his drivel..but do you know what, I don’t care and I’m not going to reprint them… he’s becoming more and more irrelevant as time goes by, he’s forcing disease and misfortune on thousands in Africa with his lies about condom use, and he’s protecting pedophile priests in the Vatican…so judging someone by his acts rather than what he says he comes pretty low down on my scale of important things… in fact Benedict you’re as interesting as a pile of Molly’s dog shit.

PS. By the way you’re not infallible 🙂

PPS. A late submission from Hrothgir Ă“ DĂłmhnaill

Benedicta pooh !

Hey again 🙂 I can only agree with you about the pope. He really should be forced to pack his suitcase and sent to live in a refugee camp somewhere in Africa among people in great need, and see if his words are of any use there. I think he is a … a… I don’t know what … but the world doesn’t really need him anymore, and the close up Vatican is an institution that should have been put to sleep long ago.
It does the world no good, it’s old-fashioned.
You see, the ways of being religious are more than just following the institutional churches 🙂

It’s an abject lie that the Catholic Church hates gays.

    Hi Editx and David

Thanks for the comments….but David I don’t know which uninhabited island you’ve been living on for the past few decades but the Catholic Church will do anything that recognise the equality of gay and lesbian people…. and please do not give that age old cliche and christo-get-out-clause of “love the sinner hate the sin” bullshit…when you’re part of the maligned minority that the Catholics love to persecute (plus I’m in the atheist minority as well so I’m in 2 minorities that the Catholic hate) then you’ll know what it’s like….

So David over to you…show me proof and evidence that the Catholic church doesn’t hate gays

Well, I guess it’s “love” to allow someone to do things that are harmful to them, huh? So when your child picks up your gun and starts to play with it, it’s ‘love’ to let them do it, right? Just let them pull the trigger…love. OR a less extreme example. You’re standing on the corner waiting for the traffic light and someone walks past you into the street. It’s love to just let them do it, right? In neither case is it love to allow someone to do something that’s harmful to them. In this way, Catholics can love the person and detest what they do to harm themselves. We also counsel same-sex attraction folks to live the life God called them to. I don’t care what minorities you belong to.

    To David…
I am a woman and I am not gay nor lesbian, but maybe I am a little bi-sexual, which in fact I think all people are. I have never heard a more retarded view on being human, than being gay or lesbian should be a thing that harm the people who are gay or lesbian.
And to your knowledge I am religious but I am also human, which in my opinion is a thing God appreciate very much.
As everything today, the bible needs to be reviewed and made more up-to-date.
If God was able to speak up in a more modern way… I am positive that he would agree that the world has changed since The Big Bang…or Adam and Eve… and I am sure he would rewrite the bible and make it up-to-date.

Editx, it’s not a sin to be human, and we all have disordered desires. For some it’s sex or drugs, for others food or alcohol, money, power, fame. These are all earthly things. It’s a sin to take these things to excess. Any sexual act which is not ordered to God’s will is sinful. Using a barrier to prevent pregnancy is a sin. Actually, non-marital sex is a sin-any sex act that doesn’t take place in the bond of matrimony to those who call God their creator. Having homosexual sex is disordered because it does nothing for the good of society. In fact it hinders society, because the primary purpose of sex is to procreate.
Your statement that God needs to make his Word more up-to-date tells me that you think God was wrong in what he spoke. This is a paradox, because God could not be God if he was wrong. EVER. God cannot change his mind because everything God has done is perfect. There must be a change in humanity, not in God. When God started the Big Bang, or however he created the universe, he knew exactly how it would be today. Otherwise he could not have called it Good. Remember, in the Old Testament, God tells Job “Before you were ever born, I knew you.”

Sorry, that’s just the way it is. We must conform to God, not ask him to conform to us.

David… I don’t really know where to start. I always try to be tolerant to all kinds of views, even yours.
First I don’t believe in Sin as something we are all born with. I think Sin is man-made, human-made. I belong to the Mosaic belief, I’m Jewish, and we don’t believe in Sin.
Secondly, your statement that homosexual sex does nothing good for society is almost a racists statement, don’t you think? Homosexuals don’t get children by having sex, but love, David, is a very important think you mustn’t forget.
And do you really think God created orgasm if we weren’t allowed to enjoy it? I don’t think so.
And about not being allowed to use condoms or other ways to prevent pregnancy, I really think God would say it’s okay to use it. Think about aids and all the women going through pregnancies from rape…
In fact I think that protection against pregnancy as being a sin, is something the Catholic Church invented. In the Mosaic belief it is a good thing to have sex, it is also good to enjoy it. It’s very human.
About God being perfect, I agree with you. But still, and without changing the bible and the word of God, I think the bible can be read and understood in a more up-to-date way – even without changing it.

Pretty much what I expected you’d David, spout the usual “sin” rubbish, mention Jebus (the slag single mothers love child), do veiled anti-gay comments, makes allusions to “love” while hiding words of hatred, spout the God nonsense. Malign women for sex, say condoms are bad….. and so forth ad nausiam.

David you’re blinkered, bigoted and banned ! Bye.

I’ll believe in your sky fairy nonsense when I see an amputated limb grow back through the power of prayer with evidence.

I’ll believe in your sky fairy when you show evidence of it’s existence…. until then keep your mild controlled gibberish and hatred to yourself.

This blog operates under the rule MBMR – My Blog My Rules concept…. i took the concept from the Catholic Church in how it’s hounded, oppressed, and executed throughout the centuries anyone who has dared to think differently and question dogma and non-sensical control mechanisms.

The type of belief I can take is the non-preaching , non hating and non disease promoting type that editx displays…we may disagree about the existence of God,,,but she responds respectively and rationally.. Editx is always welcome to discuss and disagree as she’s sensible enough not to try and force her beliefs on someone else..but let them find their own way and accept questioning. Bigots who spout the party line like you seem to do as bad as the evil bigot out of touch Benedict.

Just a note everybody….. David won’t be posting anymore….he’s banned…I can’t be doing with preachers who don’t listen, don’t answer questions and hurl abuse and hatred…..

So…Atheists 1 Christians 0…now where are those lions when you need them 🙂

A member of the church came up with the big bang its older than coca cola. Anyways i don’t see how you can change the bible simply because society has changed. But a better question would be has it changed? Aren’t people just the same, still struggling with greed, lust, etc. The only change i see is this attitude which goes something like, i am just been true to my nature. It is sort of like well if my body feels or tells me something i should embrace it rather than repress it. I’d accept that crazy logic if they actually stuck to it, but they don’t they have self control, but pick and choose when its okay with very loose criteria, but regardless use this my nature debate.

the whole “hate the sin love the sinner” is not out date or flawed. If that were the case you would have to love murder, sexual abuse etc and love the person who did it, or hate both, is that what you are arguing?

The church has never taught that anyone should hate homosexuals for any reason. Much the same as you won’t hear the police teach that it is okay for you to break the speed limit, yet some of them do quite often. There is no denying that in the past and present some lay and clergy have taught or said something which could fit into the category of hating homosexuals.

What is more obvious is that homosexuals hate the church because of their beliefs on life and sex. But so do couples who commit premarital sex and live in defacto relationships. And i don’t mean simply disagree, they hate, they stereotype the whole Catholic Church lay and clergy, Roman or eastern rite it does not matter. and oddly enough they are more inclined to hate christianity or the catholic church than they do any other religion, even weird faiths on islands which have felatio as a rite of passage they will excuse this for a thats their culture debate. Yet catholic culture is just wrong and they are all f***d is the common catch cry.

Love for another person and “homosexual sex” are not the same thing. So no homosexual sex does nothing good for society. If it does please explain? Unless you are going to make some sort of evolutionary argument about well being and nature allowing for a mismatch in numbers..i don’t really know where you could take that though.

Also your understanding of the Catholic View of sin is wrong, it is not that we are born with sin, but that we reap the consequences of adam and eve’s sin and because of God’s gift of free will; are given the choice to choose God or not. Sin is simply choosing something else besides God. Jews do believe in sin, because of the above reason, so this is incorrect. I’m thinking that you meant the theology behind original sin. But even then i thought Jews believed in that too as it comes from genesis the first sin of man. I will check that up.

On the matter of sex, the church also believes that it is for enjoyment, love and procreation. But only if at all times it is open to God and His gift of life. The loop hole if you want to call it that is NFP, which is not the outdate rhythm method it is simply as God designed the woman’s ovulation period. There are certain times when sex can be used for pleasure yet still open to life if God wills it. I guess in short it is even in these non fertile periods possibility is still there. Having a baby for anyone who has tried is not as simple as insert and spray, it is either by chance or by God that a man and woman are able to actually procreate. A good biblical link for Jews would be the story of Abraham and his barren wife.

I love how you compliment edtix on the efforts to maintain well formed debate without harsh opinions etc and then label faith in God sky fairy ….i’ll refrain from listing all the other offensive bia comments you also said.
